I need a front one, none of those available either. I feel your pain, brother.

The only alternative seems to be "good" used at the moment.

Glass is an option for me. This is for race only and the urathane front bumper is just floppling in the wind since i removed the front rebar. Still having a problem on finding a fiberglass front cover for a 79. Any suggestions?

I have a few rear bumpers if you need one. I also have 1 good front one for sale also.

$75 for a rear one
$175 for front one.

I've got a fiberglass rear bumper on my 79. I'm not sure who made it, it was on the car when I bought it and now I'm in the process of repainting it. I'll take a look tonight to see if there is a lable on the back side. It's a pretty decent piece as far as fiberglass goes. I had a fiberglass nose piece from VFN,,,,total POS. I went back with the original,,,,,way, way better.

I did notice that Glasstek makes a one piece fiberglass front end for these cars. I've seen them installed on cars and they are beautiful. They don't advertise a seperate nose piece, but it might be possible to get one from them. I'd call them and see, but if Glasstek can't make you one, I'd recommned going back with the stock cover and add some internal braces to keep it from flopping in the wind.

Are the cracks in the urethane or just in the paint? Mine had some paint cracks and I stripped and sanded them down and repainted. Came out great.

Yes the cracks are deep in the urethane. I started sanding hoping it was just in the paint, but it has some major cracks deep in the cover itself. Still looking for fiberglass bumpers if anyone knows who to contact let me know..

My rear bumper is a VFN too. It had just a small wave in it and I worked it out with a smige of body filler. As for the front bumper, it was going to take entirely too much effort to get it right.

There was a repo not too long ago, I bought the last one on this side of the boarder and it was a complete fluke. They found it hidding in a warehouse, usa made. Fit was excellent. You want to try NPD to see if they have one hidding somewhere also.

Thanks for the suggestion, I just tried- all four locations are out of stock, and both suppliers they had been using are out of business.

This is looking ugly!!!
