Been discussed or being discussed elsewhere on here.

Check out his statement "Proper SS Rally Wheels". Nope!

White81Z,

Do you happen to know where it is being discussed? Can't seem to locate.

Besides the wheels, which everyone on this site knows are incorrect, is this a matching #'s L78?

According to their description, it is Matching #'s...But we all know how that goes with some of these Ebay machines...It is missing the Chrome valve covers, and the Air Cleaner is not correct...Big $$$$ item to correct there.

Greg,

Thanks! I'm not up to speed on the 2nd Gen. BB Camaros. The car looks nice, but I'm looking for "all original" so I wouldn't want to put a bunch of money into a car after a high dollar purchase. What's your opinion on the worth, originality of this one. So, the wheels and valve covers are not original, anything else?

Appreciate the help from you BB guys.

Mark

There are so many things wrong and big dollar parts missing it would take
a lot of money to make it correct. She would make a sweet driver though if
you are not into the date code and numbers match. It looks as though these
beasts are finally getting the respect the deserve.

Ultimately I'd like the car to have all the proper equipment. Is there a way to tell if it is a true RS/SS L78? Isn't it stamped on the cowl tag L78? Are they reproducing these tags, and if so, is there any way to verify a reproduction with the original?

Oh...and 70-SS/RS-L78, I "REALLY" like you car! And they always had my deserved respect
