.....Shane , did you know in that pic of yours , it looks like the trans kickdown is not attached to the carb ? Just thought you should know, I don't mind the chevy blue also ,have it in my 79 , DC

Shane..... Yours looks very nice.
I considered blue but it clashed with the red body too much, IMO.

I like the blue as well it is different and looks better than black. I do not mind when the late years get repainted orange since that is the official small block color. Have you guys seen the color of a 57 Chevy El Moracco?

I did not want to paint it black because the car is black. It's a 70's block and I am tired of painting engine's orange.
