a buddie had a Black with Red stripes 70 Z/28 like that with the small spoiler and a 302 with a 400th (302 was 327 block with 283 crank) and a fresh eaton 411 10 bolt. it had the front sub frame pulled and blasted and repainded with all new parts & he tore it all apart and had it repainted from green with green stripes to black with red stripes, fresh motor & tranny, rearend. it went back with new carpet, interior and fresh original seats. and centerlines and super stock tires this was in 84 or 85. and he had it done in 86 and drove it some in 86 and 87 he took it to the drag strip and drove it that summer. end of 87 he wife was PG with 1st child. he sold it in end of 87 for $4,200.00
