Maybe the seller has an inflated sense of the value of the part. Anyway I cannot wait to see the "PILE ON KAREN" responses. Bidding on Ebay is one thing. Low balling another member is something else.

Karen, if you ask to be called out on something, don't be surprised if someone does. That's not bashing, that's responding. And if you do ask to be called out and someone does, don't act surprised or shocked that they did. As Dave mentioned, it's about community and trying to help one another. Hell, I couldv'e profitted multiple times over buying stuff people offer here and flipping it on Ebay, but I don't, because it's not right to do that to other members. What's so hard to understand about that?

RHead, I don't think guys pointing out actual issues and bogus sales is whining. I guess you are right, they should shut up, never mention it and not warn anyone else and let them get screwed too. I disagree, and so does MadMike, judging by the fact he stickied this thread. If members warning each other is old, well, so be it.
If you don't like the cost of a part, don't buy it. You are right, if no one pays the price will drop. I don't begrudge people for selling stuff for what someone else is willing to pay. As long as they are honest about it. And that is the point here. Selling repops & cleaned up parts as NOS parts and otherwise misrepresenting items is wrong.
To be honest you sound like you are the whiner, 'why won't someone sell me stuff cheap'. Please. Hey, go buy brand new belts from Morris Classic Concepts for less then $300. Here, pick your color

very hard to read posts
what it appears is that you are unhappy because no one here would GIVE you parts for less than they are worth?
dude, the drivers side is the one EVERYONE needs, even my own car has blown through two of them ...
There is an OLD saying:
you attract more bees with honey than with vinegar
It is not that hard of a concept to figure out

A PERIOD(.) at the end of each sentence would surely help.
PS...Glenn's thread sorta got hijacked, didn't it?

No mean intent ...Wasn't trying to be rude... just want to be able to read easily and get the message clearly, that's all.
I've seen a lot of tempers flare on this site due to misinterpretation and miscommunication. The tone of one’s comments can so easily be twisted. That's why we need to give each other the benefit of the doubt, unless the intent is clearly obvious...then I say "let the games begin!"

Retaliatory feedback from a seller to a buyer is a thing of the past come May 1st. On that date..sellers have the option of leaving no feedback or positive feedback...they will no longer be able to leave negative for a buyer. this should weed out the garbage sellers.
Yes they can change thier selling ID's, but it will put them lower down in the search results compared to those sellers with higher feedback numbers.
