I have 15 x 8 x 3.75 and 275/60 and it is a tight fit. They rub sometimes because the inner wheel well has some shiny spots. Middle of the tire on mine was cut by the fender lip so i had to roll those But now it seems ok. 1978 Camaro FYI. Probably have an inch total clearance front and backside of tire at largest part.

I also had the same size tire and backspace with a 10" rim and no rubbing (but close to outside lip) and lots of room to move the rim closer inside the wheel well. a 5" backspace would give lots of room all around, especially if she is lowered. I am not sure how 1970SS385 had the tire rubbing on the inside with the backspace he mentions. Must be a typo as the tire would be sticking out the wheel well, and rubbing on the outer lip, with lots of empty room on the inside..

Should do fine............ran that combo for a long while until I screwed up on my new wheels and got the wrong backspacing w/ 4" instead of 4-1/2"! That 1/2" sucks!
