Help!!!!!

I have to be able to drive my car tonight but have a huge problem. My engine died at a stop sign and after triple checking everything, could find nothing wrong. Then I noticed fuel, while the car is off, dripping very steadily into the carb. My brother and I blew into the carb to dry everything off and got it to start. Had to drive two footed home just to keep the rpm's up so it wouldnt die. Whats wrong?!?!?! I have to be somewhere tonight and need the car, so any help would be great.

what carb ? sounds like the float is stuck or you have some crud stuck in between the float needle and seat,,,, or if this is the first time out with this combo might have floats set to high ,,,,

Tap (hard) on the needle and seat adjustment screws with a wrench or something, Hold the peddle to the floor and crank until it fires(hopefully the plugs arent fouled)

And If you don't catch it early, it could end up being a fire hazzard.
