Audio video start

Step 1 of the audio video saga! While the interior is out again, Im sizing up the audio and video now. I swapped out the 70 dash to put in a 79 dash so I can accommodate a 7inch touchscreen monitor where the middle vents are. The monitor will control, my video controller, cameras and the computer which will give me games, internet, pandora etc and the use of my flash drive for all my music. The cd/dvd player Im mounting in the pocket in the center console below the radio. I thought it would be good to have that option for cd/dvd play. See below. The computer (fit-PC2) a 12 volt application, is being mounted in the glove box. http://www.fit-pc.com/web/fit-pc/fit...pecifications/
Pictures of the install will come later on the computer.....

Uh.... WTF?.. I'll be watching for this...

So, how do you get internet on it?

I figured I'd get a really nice headunit that has some of those functions. Maybe one with the flipout screen. But this looks intense!

For me, a "few rust bubbles" turned into a complete restoration, that took the best part of 6 months to get done. When all was said and done, every penny was worth it. So don't get discouraged!

The thread on the build process is here:

I hope it helps with your Camaro.
Thank you for showing your Camaro

Played with the monitor and dash trim a little bit today. Going to home depot to get some ideas for a trim to go around the monitor. Couldnt get a perfect cuts because of the precut holes for the vents and cig lighter.

Here's a picture front and back of the mini computer.
