I patched it back together on the side of the road and spent the next three hours trying to get to the car show. It was still overheating but I was bound and determined to get to the show. Once the car cooled down I borrowed some tools and changed out the
Bad (new) t-stat. The car ran great after that fix.
This winter I will be installing new to me #62 big valve heads, aluminum intake, Holley carb with a working choke, full roller rockers and degree in the cam.
