I agree that the rear bumper mounts are fine. My car was on this wood frame rotisserie for 3+ yrs without any issues. The bumper mounts are welded to the frame rails just a few inches from the spring mounts. Shouldn't be any difference in strength since the shell only weighs ~500 lbs.
