Carb Ls hood clearance

I am off work for the summer and really bored. I am going to the yards tomorrow to look for a 5.3, will any of the carb intakes fit under my stock hood? I tried searching but didn't figure it out.

Which hood? It would appear to be a non-issue on a Z28 (1979) hood.

I have a 5.3 with Edelbrok performer and Eddy Carb, fits fine with no air-cleaner. I haven't tried a filter yet as I don't have one. Its about as tight a fit as a SBC.

So did the aircleaner fit? Stock aircleaner or aftermarket? Drop base or regular flat? Pictures? Did you any spacer (heat sink gasket) between the intake and carb?
