Angry How to install new booster pedal rod?

Hey well just recieved my new booster from Summit and what the difference is that I noticed it that the pedal rod that is new is threaded for a nut, and the stock one is held on by a clip. What have yoou guys done to get around it? I never had a brake booster, just letting you guys know if that can help with anything.

Sorry.. You got the wrong booster.
First gen camaros used the threaded rod.
Second gen Camaros (at least the later ones) used a booster rod with a hole and was held to the pedal pin with a clip.

Mine came with a threaded rod and clevis too. I removed the pin on the pedal shaft and used the clevis setup instead. Does yours look like this? http://www.summitracing.com/parts/RSD-RPB1001/?rtype=10

Since I swapped in a auto brake pedal from an unknown year(it had the pin) and ordered the new Delco Moraine booster from Summit(clevis style) I didn't know which was correct. Works well tho.

Good idea!

I don't see any reason that won't work.
(I knew there were two styles and ordered the correct one when I bought mine so I didn't have to think about any mods to make it work.)
