Anybody have pics of traction bars on car?

Well i picked up a set of traction bars today, im not sure what color to paint or what they'd look like on car. Also they are chrome traction bars that have been painted before, but it never stuck to them. What can i do to get paint to stick? I'd like to see a couple pics of your traction bars on the car.

The kind with the little rubber piece on the end that you bolt to the rear end. Im not sure what they are called. How do you upload photos? Ill post a pic of them
