I'm anxious to here how satisfied you are with the motor. I've been thinking about building a 400. You have been very busy over the last couple of years. Great progress. My parents have a place in Sarasota, I will have to look you up when I come down there.

Guys-
Thanks for the kind words. Since thes last pics I've added the accessory drive, and fired the motor for the first time. I had a leak from what I thought was the input shaft seal on the transmission. After pulling the trans twice, I found it was actually a pin hole in the weld where the hub welds to the torque converter... I got way more parctice pulling the trans than I will ever need lol...
Anyway, no leaks for now. I will get some new pic's up soon.
I don't know the actual bore and stroke specs off the top of my head, I will post them as well.

We ended up at a 4.155 bore (.030 over) and a 3.875 Stroke. I can post all of the other specs if anyone is interested.

Hastings rings
9.6:1 Compression
ARP main studs
Cloyes adjustable timing set
Comp cams Xtreme Energy retro fit roller cam 1.050 base circle
Comp 1.6 rockers
intake .520 lift (.555 w/ 1.6 rocker) 236 duration @ .050
Exhaust .540 lift (.576 w/ 1.6 rocker) 242 duration @ .050
AFR 195cc heads 65cc chamber
2.05 Intake, 1.60 Exhaust
ARP 7/16 rocker studs
AFR stud girdle
Edelbrock port matched Victor Jr intake

This combo should be worth 550-600 horse, and be a torque monster. Sucks that it's going to be a while befor I can drive it. Worse than waiting for christmas....
