If you have the window knobs, drivers window and fan shroud I'll take them off your hands.

Finally on the road

Hey guys, hopefully you didn't forget about me. Sorry its been so long, I did a lot of moving and lost some close friends of mine in a drug related car accident. But out of the dark I finally got Kimberly to run and drive under her own power. Then found out that my "fuel problem" was because of a bad cam from the previous owner of the 67 327 (330 after bore) I put in my build. So I put in a new roller comp cam and now she's got the real get up and go I was looking for. Ill post pics soon for all of you to finally see Kimberly, she goes in for primer and sealer in 3 weeks as well to have the carbon fiber hood cut and aligned properly. I'm excited to finally have her on the road!!! It was a long two years especially the last year. I'm here to stay though, I hope you guys don't mind having the young kid still around to love these timeless 2nd gens. ;] Have a great day everyone!!! and be safe!

New to the group

I wanted to introduce myself as I'm a newer camaro owner and will need some good pointers as I go through my build. My name is Jared. I grew up in a family that worked for Ford, but could never deny my endless desire for 2nd gen camaros. I saved over the last decade to buy my dream, and within the last year purchased a 1973 and started my journey. I'm looking forward to the support of this group to help idea share to build my dream.

We're headed to a small town in north-central Wyoming that most people have never heard of -- Worland. It is a town of about 5,500 nestled in the Big Horn Basin (on the western side of the Big Horn Mountains). If you know where Cody or Powell are at, Worland is about 90 miles from each one. Worland is my hometown. I'll be taking over as the General Manager of our family business.

Welcome to the fun, Jared! There are a bunch of really smart guys on NastyZ28 who are more than willing to offer advice and share experiences. Good luck with your '73!

I have brand-new QA1 GD501-10400C coil-over double-adjustable shocks. I went to install them, but discovered that using Hotchkis lower control arms with the QA1 setup would lower the car too much on the front end (without changing the tires - and I wanted to keep the stock wheels and stock size tires). So they have never been used.

This setup runs $550 on Summit and $625 on Jegs. I don't need them, so would like to sell them. I'm asking $500 and will throw in the spanner wrenches. Just need to sell before I move in a month.

Welcome Jared, this site is your greatest resource, a lot of good people on here, large knowledge base. Enjoy your build and we all look forward to seeing it.
And o yeah, my wife's entire family is Ford crazy and we just bought her a '79 stingray she's been wanting

My blinkers dont work

Does anyone know how to get my blinkers to work? They don't turn on at all. I have a 1980 coupe but the blinkers and hazards don't work. What to I fix? where is it at? and what will it look like?
thanks Alljackedup

You may have a bad turn signal switch, if I'm not mistaken its in the steering column and you'll have to remove the steering wheel to get to it. I'd post this in the Electrical section and you'll get plenty of info on it. I'm not that great at electronics so someone else should chime in.
