Some folks have plenty of current but the filament still just barely glows.

I must be the only one who sees how he could have easily hit 120,000.
1. New Engine, Transmission, Drive train - 10,000 (3,000, 2000, 1500, + install)
2. Media Blast, Body Work, Seal, Prime, Paint - $30,000 (It seems high, but all the various things can add up quick)
3. Wheels/ Tires - $2,000
4. New Interior - $22,000
5. New Brakes (+ install) - $4,000
6. EFI and Assorted add-ons - $3,000
7. Electrical - $2,000
8. Misc Crap - $10,000
That brings you to $83,000, leaving a balance of $27,000. With all the different shops he used, plus he obviously "re-did" some things along the way, I can see how that could eat up another 20,000+.

No, I can definitely believe he spent that kind of money on it, and the interior is definitely one of a kind.....I just don't think it looks $115k better than mine.

I'm with ya there. There are several things he did that I think look pretty bad. Moving the ignition to the center dash couldnt have been cheap, but I think it looks weird. Using a crate motor on a car with that much invested is just flat out stupid. Plus, there is no way I would let an interior shop add that massive dog tag on my dash like they did either. That looks really cheap. I like the door design though, and lining the center console and glove box is a neat idea. I'm definitely stealing that.
There is a small toggle switch in the trunk and a button inside the center console - I wonder what those are for.
He posted the pics where his $120,000 car was appraised for $48,000 in 2010. Im surprised it was that high.

He has some notebooks with receipts and other information. There are like 600 pics from the auction.

Where are the sun-visors? I really want to know where he got his wiper motor!
He spent the money in labor. it would cost less than half that if he did it himself.
