Did some good racing this weekend.

Hurt the transmission and converter last time out so with it fixed up went sat to run next points race, new converters a bit loose taking off and the 60's were off a bit, we dialed up the launch rpm and got it into 1.43 60s. car ran 5.95@120. went out first round, bought back in ran and did a big fat red light next round, But today went much better, tried launch rpm higher and car did big twisted wheelie then blew tires off in time trials, next time trial we it launched good then lost power with a big boom, ends up we blew the boost pipe off it from the intercooler. That was it for time trials and we still hadn't put a good pass down. They announced that they were running closest to the dial, so i told my nephew the put 6.00 on the car. Pulled up and ran 6.003, everyone thought i had it but some dude pulled one off at .001, but somehow we ran the old terd into the semifinals in our class race today, was pretty pumped since car was kinda wacky today. First time i won some money at the track so that was cool! was a good weekend for sure!

Congrats!

I didn't fare so well locally, ended up finishing fourth, just OUT of the money.

Traction was up and down this weekend, despite being on new slicks. I did get a few passes in the 10 teen range with 1.34 60' times, and an "on the brakes" third round with 1 1.319 60' time, looked to have been a 10.1 pass or slightly better. Big wheel stands are a blast, and almost make up for the losses.
