It was 107 here. My patio t-stat said at least 104...

I was outside grinding, cutting, welding my hood... it was hot.. .but not intolerable. I went inside the house and it felt nice.. I looked at the house's internal temp... 90!!! Ha.... had to shut it up and flip on the AC, moved the dogs inside.
Then I went back outside and continued welding.

Only part that sucked was my water bottle tasted warmer than hell. It was like drinking ... well, about 100*-room temperature water.

The last three days when I pass Metro Acura in Montclair on the 10 freeway on the way home, the temp has read 102 each day at around 5pm.

I went to have lunch at Wahoos Fish Tacos. Sat on the patio at the Irvine Spectrum shopping center so I could watch all the hotties walk by. It started to rain ....the temp just dropped about 10 degrees in the shop.

But guys......it's a "dry" heat. lol

All kidding aside.
I'd take 112 in Palm Springs over 90F with 80% humidity any day.

But then I'll take anything over the cold and snow of mid January

I saw George Lopez a few months back in Laughlin. He started a joke about how damn hot it is in Laughlin but people say it is a dry heat. Then he say, okay if you think it is a dry heat come touch my balls or something like that. I am sure I am not as funny but his dilvery of the joke was hallarious.
