ls1 into79 what sump

i have a 79 camaro and a ls1 and t700 from a 02 monaro (or gto) to you guys up over as to the non igistance of anything else out here having a gen3 in it im chasing a sump and pick up thats to the rear not the front the onley optons i have are a cast sump from a converson shop $3500 or fab a dry sump myself any info on what vehcles have a hump to the rear would be great (am thinking find one in us and freight it over would be more viable) knowone in australia has attempted this conversoin yet i have the full loom,computer and all accsessorys can fab eng mounts myself. car is a 79 berlinetta german delivered. flat fire wall stock rails 305 t350 sheet metal dash on air bags as of today gutted and first coat of chrome yellow went on any help would be appreciated

There are companies here in the states that make completly fabricated replacement fuel tanks for fuel injected engines like yours. But they are $$$ here w/o considering what it would cost to ship to you....but you'd have one of a few if ANY have made it there yet....

Do a search in this topic....a couple of guys have them here.

i'm using a stock camaro/firebird set in my 73. remember you also need the windage tray, dipstick, oil pickup that go with the oil pan. even with shipping from over here you should be able to find a set pretty easy. even new ones through a gm dealership would be thousands cheaper than $3500. also check over on ls1tech.com for info and for sale section.

thanks ill do a search and see what i can come up with am i right in assuming any oil pan from a ls1 4th gen camaro/firebird or ls1 vette will fit as its a long way to do a return.what model is yours out of joaljet?

go to ls1tech.com in the conversions/hybrids sections they have a sticky on all the oil pan options complete with dimensions and almost accurate part numbers
