The last one ended March 31st. They will probably have one in June - they seem to run them quarterly.

I had bad dealing with them i was not pleased with service I had ordered some stuff online. A back bumper and a rear trunk lock bezel it was like 164.00 well i printed the invoice and waited for them to send me something telling me that they had recieved my order well the finely sent me something telling me one of my items was on back order, fine no big deal well 3or 4 days go by and my wife calls me telling me that 208.00 dollors is pending in or account and the only thing that didnt go through was the order through classic. So she calls them and ask them why we were being charged 208.00, they say over sized shipping charges and there computer is supposed to automaticaly add that on there, They say something is wrong with there server online they are working on it right now well are invoice does not show 208 it shows 164 and that is not are fault that your server is down you should stand by the invoice well they wouldnt, So we tell them to cancel are order ok we will thats fine. Well the next day i check my email and there is a tracking number for those parts from ups well i call classic back and ask them why i am still getting shipped these things he says it shows you never canceled the order. I told the guy to cancel it and i gues he never did. Well i ask them what can i do i dont want it, he said wait tell it gets there and deny it well ups just drops it off they dont get signature or anything so i new i was getting screwed there to. So i told my wife we will keep this but never again will i order anything from them again.
If they would have contacted us and told us shipping was more that would be fine but they didnt,And didnt contact us telling me it was shipped, So long story short just be careful they are very shady people.

Shipping is getting to be a racket I'm thinking. Started to place an order for some body bushings and odds and ends last week with Paddock parts on the net. For the 90 dollar order, that would ship in a small shoe box, they listed $22 shipping and handling. Must do a lot of handling in that place?

Some shipping charges are pretty bad but $22.00 does seem a little out there. I guess it would be cheaper to pick it up but then again you do have to pay tax, the gas and your time involved. So when you take all that into account shipping isnt all that bad...??? I live kind of near Classic (about 40 miles round trip. If i bought $90.00 worth of parts with the tax it would come out to about $7.20. Gas at lets say $3.15 a gallon and here are my choices: 2002 Fort Mustang GT, 2005 Nissan Titan or 71 Camaro. Ill choose the mustang because it gets better gas mileage. I'll get about 15-17 mpg average. Thats about a little over $6.00 in gas. Lets just say $6.50 roundtrip gas fair. Total i have so far is $7.20 tax and $6.50 gas. Total $13.70! I have been down there at Classic on weekends and weekdays. If you need parts its the perfect place to waste two hours of your life in line waiting. In addition the time to drive down there and back home..So pretty much consider your morning and afternoon shot..(people that have been down there can verify what i say!) Geez that was long..I must be bored!!!!!!! What was my point?? Heck if i know but shipping and getting the parts yourself are pretty close.
Just my 2 cents..

KB73,
I had the same problem last month, but they handled it perfectly. I had two oversized items and was not charged extra shipping. When I checked my credit card the charge was $70 higher then the invoice so I called them. I got the same story as you but they refunded the $70. I thought their customer service was great, then again I may have got a stand up person when I called.

Because of this situation is why I always call them before I order anything that will be oversized. I asked the guy on the phone when I ordered my floorpans why the website said the price was so much cheaper. he told me the same story that the website can not calculate oversize items and what the freight charges are. I have always had good results from them using this method. I guess I just always call.

Exactly...

I never use the website..just call the 800. I've always gotten very friendly service and all charges are explained before they run my card. I don't understand the whole "double oversized shipping" charge though.
