Drove Rist, north and south on Stove Prairie, and returned Poudre Canyon on Saturday. I was surprised that it wasn't the tear-jerker I expected. The forest appeared primarily intact, but you could see some complete burns off in the distance here and there.
There's still a lot of fuel on the forest floor that needs to be cleared!
We've gotten a couple of blasts of moisture so far, and several inches in a short period last week!
Now that it's primer gray, I parked FRANKENTRUCK in the arena this evening and brought the Camaro up to the small garage. I can tell right off that I'll need to bleed the Camaros' brake lines! Yipes! Otherwise, it should be fully functional, and I should be able to get started with a fresh coat of satin black on the car. It may take awhile,...
Todd.

Glad the 100 round magazine was of such poor construct as to jam!
And they are reputed to do so, so why sell them at all?

Hello I'm Levi. I'm only 17 but I'm smart and eager to learn about these cars. I passed calculous 2 my jr year and college level chemistry. I'm happy and excited to be part of this website, I have always loved the 2nd gen camaros. We go way back the two of us, my grandfather owned a 78 camaro with a 454 and a m22 rock crusher. She was beautiful... Unfortunatly he had to sell and I couldn't get the $ to buy it. But I finally had the cash to buy my own and build from scratch. I own a 1980 camaro it needs lots of work but that's the fun part.

Hi JackedUp, welcome! Good to see the younger generation keeping the 2nd gen spirit alive. Post up some pics of your project when you get a chance and let us know how we can help!

I like that "AllJackedUp"!
Welcome, dude!
Calculus is a PITA (and general chemistry is just as bad!) but these cars are usually not! Best of luck with your 1980,...let us know if we can help with info for repairs or recommendations for tradesman to fix problems you might not want to tackle yourself.
I used to help rule Ft Collins with a silver '53 Stude' Commander/Chev 327 ci/4 spd BW T10/with 4.55:1 rear gears in about 1974. The guys I hung out with had some VERY capable vehicles: Larrys' 1969 GTX convertible with 440/4 spd and Joes' 1967 289HP fastback Mustang. We ran 110 octane from the Ft Collins airpark when we could afford it and ran drag runs light-to-light down College Ave on Friday and Saturday nights when the cruising crowd would accumulate. Pink slips got traded out by the drive-in occasionally!
Not nearly the same kind of horsepower running around any more, but quite interesting new technology!
Todd.

Thank you guys. I really do love these 2nd gens. I do have a question about where I can find a new front bumper without breaking the bank. I'm also ganna need the upper and lower grill pieces as well. If you know where to find these pieces cheaper will be a huge help. The bumper that's on there now can't be salvaged. Ya I chose alljackedup cuz it is something my grandfather says all the time, but that's usually when I poke fun at him and he laughs and tells me I'm all jacked up.
