Electrical connectors...

Just out of curiosity, does anybody know of any places online to get something like a variety kit of connectors(butt connectors, bullet connectors, spades, etc.)? Something that is good quality? Im sick of dealing with the garbage connectors from autozone and advance and such. Any help is greatly appreciated.

summit has a lot of electrical connector kits. I got a gm style weatherpak kit from them and have been making weatherproof oe style connections recently to try to clean up my work.

I also use mcmaster-carr for oddball connectors

Same here.

I gutted my cars and both am using Metripack and Weatherpack modern GM
weatherproof connectors almost exclusively. Casper Electronics is local to me
but Summits $10 handling fee and no tax is easier with the gas prices.

For the other stuff i have male/female ins. Terminals and butts & shrink from Waytek.
Stop shopping local.....buy in bulk cheap from Waytek.
Just be careful with their shipping charges

Whats the deal with their shipping? Do they try sneaking in some super high price on you? I really like the weatherpack connectors but sometimes they just dont look the part on stuff Im working on, ya know?

The Fastemal is only place that has good quality shring tube covers with thermal sealant in stock. They aren't cheap but you get what you pay for.

You'll have to copy and paste the link below to be able to see the Fastenal web page.

Yes, they sent multiple packages in one order and charged my CC additionally after I placed the order for 2 shipments.
I complained and got the credit back, but it happened nonetheless......

Fastenal from what I've seen charges you excessively for the same things you can get locally for far less.
McMaster Carr is a much cheaper source then they are IMO.
But I try Ace Hardware first for most of my hardware needs.

Waytek was the cheapest for heat shrink tubing in 4 foot sections.
Even cheaper then Amazon. I have a nice box full of it.
