Kiss of French 79 camaro
Hi !!
I’m french, I live near Paris (30miles), 35 years old. I have 2 camaros:
-One third gen 85’ RS V6 for daily car, buying in 2008.
-One second gen, buying in 2010, a real mix of 77-79 camaro (1979 Z28 body, 1977 interior and VIN, snowflakes and exhaust 1979 TransAm). The engine : 350ci with holley 750cfm and TH350.
Even if this Camaro is not a real 79’ Z28, I like this car because I prefer 77 interior and I prefer the 79 body, and this car have these two specificities… I know what is impossible but I like this “meltingpot”… This car is very good condition, body, interior, paint, mechanic…
Another particularity of this Z28 is the 80’ blue Z28 front emblem, the real admission hood (not factice as origin) and the blacks tails lamp.
If someone can explain me if the real hood air admission and blacks tails lamp were an origin option or recent after market?
In the future, I would like just to find rims of 79’ or 80’Z28, and a 650cfm carburetor (more small than my 750cfm too big!!).
I would like also a real 79’ Z28 “matching number” with decal striping, but I wait (money)….
Kind regards ;o))
Marc
