PLEASE HELP WITH MY SEATS if you have 70 style
I was told these were 1970 seats when I bought them. Not sure what year cars they came in. I put the seats in to get a feel for the look of the inside. I noticed the guy did not put the clips or pin or whatever clips on to the stud???
should I go back and raise cain, or can I buy whatever goes here??
I like the look of the 70 interior. making my inside like that with console also.

Quake,
Your seat covers are different than the woven style vinyl covers that I bought. I kinda like those.
Question 1.
It would take a lot of spring tension to spread the seat backs enough for them to fall apart BUT get the right sized E-Clip and snap on there, then the cover if you have it.
Question 2.
Pretty big gap, pretty sure that mine are basically the same. I am not completely sure but think that may be by design to allow the seat to fold.
I am anxious to see how that 4th gen shifter handle will look with the boot on mounted in the 70-2 console.

I had the shop do a custom stitch covering. I guess they just copied
the old fabric and made this style. Im very happy with it!!

My 70 seats do not look like they have the covering you do. Maybe an aftermarket design?

Correct, my seats were custom coverd. I did not want stock looking seat.

We just took apart my old seats today. I have another old set of 1970 standard front seats. I'll get you some pics tomorrow.
