transmission help

I have a th400 out of a chevy van I want to use in my camaro. My problem is the tail shaft(?) is a universal joint bolt on. (see pic, not mine) How difficult is it the change the tail shaft to a slip on yoke instead of the bolt on?

Or is it actually a slip and just stuck good and tight? I can't get it to budge.

We have the same transmission. I took the bolt out, put a bar through the yoke and JD (youngest son) gave it a "tap" with the sledge hammer and it came right out. We're going to replace it with a new yoke from Summit or Jegs.
