Fel Pro head gasket question...

just wondering which side goes up on a fel pro sbc head gasket? no instructions and I don't want to make the mistake of installing upside down.I assuming the striped side goes up. also do you install them dry? thanks

The stripes and the writing should face upward.

Look really close and you will see "UP" embossed on one side of the head gasket

when i was racing on the dirt, my engine builder put them on upside down for steel heads and right side up for aluminum heads. if you put them on upside down, there should be no problem.
