LOL............No !!!!!!!!! The welding was done by a friend who is a great welder and has the patience needed for this kind work. I did the trimming, finish work and paint. Oh, and I absolutely hate doing bodywork but I was pleasantly surprised with the results. Point is though, that there is hope on the horizon for better fitting panels coming to market through companies like this one. It seems that about every 6 months that a new part shows up and that's a good thing. Soapbox off...............

What type/kind of paint did you use to finish that trunk pan? That looks just right. I painted mine flat black 20 years ago and never did get around to finishing it.

NPD's red oxide primer pn # AP-42030N followed by GM spatter paint from NPD pn# C-8800-2
Then sealed with a clear coat .

First off your trunk pan install turned out great! You guys did a nice job beginning with your prep work!
I have also had good results with their panels. I bought both doors and fenders for my '86 S10. Keep in mind that the door hinges on these trucks are welded to both the door and the cab with the connection being the pins...no adjustments can be made! Both doors fit great...fenders lined up just as well!
