ssm lift bar hardware, I need some!

I bought a used set of ssm bars for my 72 and it doesnt have all the hardware. I have the square bolts tha go around the spring and thats it. Do I need longer hardware for the spring plate end? Im guessing so because the traction bar plate is a lot thicker.
Can I just replace the u-bolts with longer bolts or do I have to use a longer u-bolt? If I need longer u-bolts then where can I get them?

You can use your original U bolts and T bolts. Just make sure you install washers under the heads of the nuts. Mine has been like that for 3 years and two engines. Also, you will need to make a bushing for the passenger side to make the car sit level and launch straight. 1/8" stock, stacked to about 1" tall does the trick nicely. If you want pics, email me and I will snap off some for you.

I wouldn't use the original t-bolts. They most likely won't last very long. I would buy new u-bolts. They aren't very expensive and you won't have to worry about them breaking.
