david here. bought a 78 camaro about a month ago and was having fun working on it and then a rod started knocking. that pissed me off so i sold my 03 GSXR 1000 and went out and bought an 81 Z28. so now i have 2 camaros. I'm thinking of making the 78 a donor car for a few parts, but i hate to. maybe some of us from Louisville can get together one day to check out each others cars.
any of you guys from Louisville know much about wiring back up the factory gauges? all of my wires have been cut.

David, I have completely re-wired my car. Sure I could help you figure it out. I'm also an electronics technician for a living, and pretty good at custom electrical stuff. Check out my custom control-switch box.

Mike from Nicholasville, KY (just south of Lexington). Maybe you Louisville guys could come to Lex sometime. Parketter Drive-In diner just re-opened and I plan to cruise down there every friday night. Here is a link to my current progress on my '80 Z28. http://nastyz28.com/forum/showthread.php?t=145849
