I sell both the
SPAL and Electric-Life power Windows.
The Electric-Life replicate the OE powe window mechanisns and are basically a bolt-in. Electric-Life motors aren't the most powerful on the scissors type mechanism like the Camaro uses.
Of course you'll have the fun task of realigning the window and such.
The Electric-Life kits are Model Specific and are priced per model) E/L does offer a less expensive universal kit, that isn't the best.
The SPAL windows are Italian made and yes, grace things like Ferraris.
Very good quality and powerful. They are a universal kit that is easy to figure out.
They reuse all your original equipment as it sits now. You do (can) space in the crank stem so it sticks out of the door panel less, The kit includes all the spacers and gears / adapters to connect to where the old crank handle went.
Its the simplest to install and rather inexpensive in price and labor.
Both kits come with plugs to cover the old crank hole, and some folks will mount the switches in that location.
Both SPAL and Electric-Life offer the same switches.
You can get GM style switches that can be door mounted or console mounted, A European style BMW switching, The Joker style (angled in a housing) switching etc. Most all are lighted except the GM switches.
