Wheel Spacers
 

I bought a pair of inexpensive 1/2-inch Cragar wheel spacers for the rear until I decide on my new wheels and tires. I have some light rubbing on the wheel-well with the 275/60-15's when I corner too strong

Any tips with installing these on the corporate 10-bolt w/ drum brakes? Fitment ok using the stock wheel studs?

Install long studs if you use them

JD, that's what I have on mine and I had to replace the studs with longer ones. The stock studs only give a couple threads to tighten, not enough to safely drive, especially on hard cornering! LOL!

What a PITA this has become, Ok, anybody know the correct stock wheel stud size? Maybe have one laying around that you could send me the stud knurl diameter from a drum brake rear end? Looks to be 7/16-20 x 1.3 " long w/ a .564" knurl dia. for a stock replacement, obviously I need them longer - but not too long. I found some at Jegs except they're 2-7/8...those will probably be in the way of my center caps. :mad:

The best thing to do is to remove one from the axle hub and take it to a parts store. Good luck in finding one, they're hard to come by, but I think I got mine from Summit. I have to look at my receipts and see what I can find for you. Oh, and by the way, you may have to remove the axle to get the studs out. I replaced both of my axles so it was easy to change while they were out.

I have 10 brand new studs from ARP, 7/16 stud, .593 knurl, 3.1875 " long, part-no. 100-7702. Description is "Late GM Brake & Early Drum Brake wsk". $13 shipped. If they are too long, make use of your cutoff wheel or hacksaw.
