Cars Against Cancer - Car Show at Trinity HS, KY
 

I'm posting this for a friend. He is having a car show at Trinity HS in Springlee KY on June 30th from 1 to 4 p.m.

I can't make it, but if anyone else can show up and support this, he and I would appreciate it.

I will attend, and contribute, but I can't imagine my car will be done by then....

Steve is that the Trinity high school I'm thinking of here in Louisville? or is their another Trinity high school in this state?

As Trinity H.S is involved, this appears to be on the up and up...

I'd still like to see that the proceeds go where intentionally directed, and by whom it is financially backed...

I'll delve into that facebook link a little deeper.

I know of people who create projects for a charitable cause and fail to account for what cause those profits benefit...

If Trinity is involved, and I'm a St. X grad '88, that lends some credence.

I should have waited until I checked out the facebook link, but you can never be too careful.... Maybe I'm just bitter, hoping the Impala will be finished...

That is a very good point, and I have to agree with you.

Seems like so many have a scam anymore, and most are obscenely shameless.

Going to try and make it out but don't know if I'll be at my new job by then or not. Supposedly when I start were going to be working 10 to 12 hours and Saturdays.

Desire' might be working... But if I put those KC lights on my John Deere, do you think that would be OK?

Des is already about to beat me for that (see previous post about running full throttle past her bedroom wwindow at 2 AM), but if it's for the greater good of fighting cancer.....

And I really want thelights, whether I'll use them or not....

I was in Charleston, SC, (edit: 4 days)... We were closing on our family's property there.

I didn't think to post, and I apologize..

Still sounds dumb, regardless- well, it was...

The Impala will be done, save the top, by the end of tis coming week.


The top will be completed by the first week of August..
