What kinda ballpark figure for new bearings, posi & ring & pinion gears? Charlton.

I paid about 1300 new gears,posi,bearings,set up and new axles.

I bought a jegs ring and pinion package when I did mine. About $350. Went from 3.08's to 3.73's.

Eaton Posi $484 or Yukon Dura Grip $402, Yukon gears $205, Yukon installation kit with Timken bearings and super shim set $105 and axle bearings and seals $30. Yukon axles are $195 and Moser axles are &250.

No sir i had a shop do it,i dont have the expertise to set up the rear and i did not want to chance it.

I highly recommend these guys training video's.
I built a 2004R transmission watching it and reading a performance upgrade book.
Had a blast learning it all.......demystified it for me finally.

Pay attention to the bearings and shim kits Big Gear Head recommends.
