fuel gauge problem....im to young to no whats wrong
 

ok so 2 years ago before me and my dad started tis project (1970 camaro), the gas gauge used to read a half tank all the time when the car was off and when running it was at 1/2 but went back and forth just kinda fluttering around half and now after reassembly its doing the way over full/ bad ground thing and we found a black wire that had a ground looking connector but the wire was cut somehow... so anyone no the problem and please send picture if you have any. pictures are wayyyy easier to go by.

nevermind dropped the gas tank to find that there was no ground wire...connected and turned the key and laughed to se just how fast it went to the red zone near E.........great another gas tank to fill!:p
