What to use to seal rear spoiler holes???
 
What is best product to use to seal the spoiler mounting holes in the deck lid and 1/4's?

Seam sealer mang.Or leftover window install strip.

part # g-4166 12.00 comes with the correct nuts and rubber washers.

Thanks Ken,

Just checked my body bolt kit I ordered from them and danged if that was not in there so I already had it...Kool! I forgot how much stuff came in that kit. I even have the chrome bumper bolts and the Z28 fang well nuts and bolts too.

so do you use any seam sealer on the rubber gaskets or is that all you need?

That kit is $12 and that company has $30 minimum order amount.

i just use the washers, i buy a kit for every car i do. the amk kit is the best i have found.

A 3M product called Strip Caulking. Hopefully your are able to close some of the gaps up with the right stuff. I apply a bit of this everywhere else. So many uses it is well worth the price of admission!

Just a heads up for anyone wanting to use these.Lowes carries these in their hardware section.I bought a few of them a few months ago,but used them on the underside for the mounting nuts as not to scratch my trunklid.(I knew the spoiler was coming back off)Theyre dirt cheap too.

I use this a lot, too. So far, I have reinstalled the kick panels and outside heater box cover with this stuff. I have more places to use it, including the spoiler holes!
