Beautiful Car for sure, I love the Black on Black…
But I am not impressed with the restoration at all, The pictures are deceiving,
if you look closely at the Body and Paint work…… Well let’s just say I have
seen much better. I also like the cracked steering wheel and rusty seat track.
IMO, it’s a nice driver.

Very nice car and it would probably sell if they would put on the correct tire and wheel combo.
Even the 71 and up cigarette lighter looks out of place.

I think it is steel wheels with a center cap (dog dish), or Rally II's, or full wheel covers. Just not Z/28 5 spokes

vfitom2aol.com 05-20-2008 06:40:35 PM

It would be the 14 inch common rally's that were on later Camaros, Nova's, etc. with wide trim ring and steel cneter cap with the lug cutouts.

Those would be standard with Z27? So the other 14" wheels available that year were still optional, yes?

vfitom2aol.com 05-20-2008 10:53:15 PM

I think there was only one other wheel choice-the wire wheel cover. Someone correct me if I'm wrong..........

al8apex 05-20-2008 11:03:16 PM

the SS came standard with the body colored steel wheels with the dog dish wheel covers

the Rally Wheel

and the P02 wheel covers

were optional

Ah yes, thanks......nice pics...

THNDER 05-21-2008 01:27:35 AM

There was also the PO1 full wheel cover. Paul can hopefully post a picture of one. The ZJ7 wheels were the rally wheels. Mike

not sure you could get the P01 with the SS, it is not clear and i don't think i ever saw one ...
