Starting to wire my car. I have a Painless full chassis harness to integrate with a GM ECM/engine harness, along with Vintage Air wiring. I am finding some redundancies and wondering if there are any implications.

The first one is powering the fuel pump. I know I need a switched power source. Both Painless and the GM harness have provisions for this. I am leaning towards using the Painless one because it routs both a power and fuel sending lead with the rear tail lights - making it convenient to the in-tank pump. I can't see any reason not to use this one. Any thoughts on this?

Also, if anyone has installed both of these systems, I would be interested in any other quirks that may await me...

thanks.

I'm down to the very last part of my car and that is my need for 4 into one side pipes. I really want the real deal for a sbc. I'm not above doing my own fabrication but even the patriot fake pipes are either way to long to even fit and there actual exaust tube it 3.5 inches and I really want a true 4 inch wide pipe running down the side of my rocker panel. Any help or sets for sale would be greatly appreciated.
Hell Everyone, Ryan here from UMI Performance. New here as sponsors but have always lurked the site.

We have been building suspension for the 82-02 F-Body as well as the G-Body and A-body for many years... we have now recently jumped in the 2nd gen and pretty heavily. This thread will be dedicated to the build process of our 1971 Camaro that is ultimately being built for autocross and road race events.

We aquired this car in spring of 2015 from a Spring Carlisle swap meet, unfortunately it has taken us until late 2016 to finally start the build process. Please follow along, I will start the post from when we got it and keep adding.

Here's the car as we purchased it in spring 2015 (non-Z28, only badged by previous owner) The body was recently redone and car painted, it looks good for us and saves us that step. The engine was a spent 350 (originally thought a 305 but was a 350) with a TH350 transmission.
