1995 Camaro Z28 LT1
I\'ve owned this car since 2003 and it has been nothing but a blast and joy to own! This car has been driven (300+/- miles to be exact over the past four years). It has just over 100k clean miles on it. The majority of the time it’s been in my garage under the covers with a battery maintainer hooked up to it and started every other week. I\'ve taken care of it meticulously, no racing or track experience (even though it could easily be introduced to the track world). Only premium fuel and Mobil Synthetic Oil used. Transmission has automatic setup but is actually a manual (similar to triptronic technology on luxury cars). It has an automatic shift kit - requires up and down shifting at every so many RPMs.
Title has "rebuild/salvage - PA" listed on it (this is how it was when I bought the car 7 years ago from a guy in PA, it didn\'t concern me). In 1999 the prior owner got into an accident and the insurance company said the cost to fix the car was more then the value of the car so automatically they called it a "salvage." Then it was rebuilt up to standards (and customized) and that is why the title now says "salvage/rebuild." I brought it up to Buffalo, NY in 2003 where the D.O.T. did a one time "salvage inspection" to make sure there weren\'t any stolen parts on it when it was rebuilt and it passed without issues. I\'ve taken it off the road each fall/winter and re-registered it every summer. In a nutshell; the car was hit, repaired, and now it\'s good as new like it never happend - no issues with it\'s frame or any other structure!
It was recently NY state inspected and has been inspected each year without any problems since ownership. The car is mechanically sound and I will definitely miss it but I have to pay for school!
