Hi dave; thanks for your comment. I saw your thread last week(same colour drew me to it)-it made me realise Ive been very lucky to find such a solid car! Mine was painted 20years ago according to the guy I bought it from,& has had a couple of patch repairs to the fenders & quarters by the look of it,but apart from some crazing in the paint has held up well. Your pictures of the footwells are interesting (frightening!) -the only issue I have seen with mine is a small hole where the inner & outer sections(under your feet) trap moisture-what a bad design! I need to restick the (cloth)headliner which has sagged,and one of the head gaskets is weeping coolant slightly. Otherwise so far so good.Incidentially,whilst it is badged as an LT (rear satin trim/side and steering wheel badges etc) the vin number & lack of tacho suggest it was built a base/sport coupe.It is all numbers matching & I have just found the build sheet under the rear seat. I havent read thru all your thread yet,but will do with a coffee sometime.Keep up the good work!
