I have a 1979 Camaro Z28 with a 383 stroker and 4 speed muncie. I'm thinking of trading or selling in order to get something else. Especially interested in a 950 or 990 KTM Adventure. Clear WA state title in my name. This car was used for drag racing and I'm not super excited about having to make it pass smog in CA. Its been sitting in my backyard since I brought it to CA from WA (about 1.5 yrs ago). It was driven every day before that. I’m looking to sell or trade for something older than 1974 so I don’t have to smog it in CA. (Original 350 motor and T-10 4 spd trans are disassembled, awaiting reassembly.)
Here’s a link to video of it running with a 383 full roller motor: http://youtu.be/0_Hpx9FEeFc
The 383 stroker race engine that is currently in it has about $13,000 into it. It's pushing about 500 HP without the Nitrous through a 4 spd Muncie Rock Crusher. The car is an original Z28 and I have the correct wheels to make it stock. I also have the original engine and trans, which are both disassembled, ready to start rebuilding if you want to go stock.
If you want it with the 383, Nitrous, Muncie Rock Crusher Original 350, t-10 and other misc racing parts (drag slicks, rear beadlocks, ladder bars, original wheels, aluminum rims, etc) I'll sell you the whole thing for $9,900
Let me know if you want to see it and we can negotiate shipping etc. from there.
