I'm selling my 1980 Camaro. It is a 350 v8, 5-speed, t-top, posi car.
Engine:
-Chevy 350 010/020 4-bolt main [Pre-emissions]
-Holley 650 double pumper carb
-Edelbrock Performer Intake Mani
-MSD ingnition
-Hooker Headers
-Flowmaster Exhaust
Tranny:
-Rebuilt T5 5-speed transmission with overdrive [Very tight]
-Straight Cut gears
-3.73 10-bolt Posi rearend
Suspension:
-KYB Suspension package. [Struts and Springs]
Interior:
-Full Black leather swap
-Impala SS reprodution steering wheel
Exterior:
-New grill
-Fiberglass cowl hood
-5 spoke Thrust style wheel 17x9 front, 17x10 rear.
This car is a blast to drive, it turns heads whereever it goes. However I recently lost my job and am no longer able to fund this project.
It is a very clean car, no rot anywhere only a few bubbles starting to form at the rear quater. Frame is solid as a rock. It was taken to Camaro Specialties in East Aurora earlier this year for check-up and they were amazed how clean it was for an all original body minus the hood.
Being older it does have a few issues, none of which affect the cars driveabililty
The Bad:
-Original Paint and body [Needs a respray]
-The Original Door seals /t-top seals are cracked from age [New GM restoration sets will be included in sale]
-Something is slowly pulling amps, if the car sits more then 36hours you will need to jump it.
-The dash has a few typical cracks from age.
-Temp Gauge does not work.
I have been collecting parts for the respray and final assembly.
-New Front Spoiler [Complete]
-New Door and t-top seals
-New Fan Shroud
-New front retracting seat belts
-Original 1969 Z28 emblems [Look better the the 79-80]
NYS Inspection as of May 2011, located in Buffalo, NY.
I am asking $5500.00 firm. I have $1,000 in parts that aren't even on the car yet. This is extremely close to being a great cruiser and have well over my asking price into the car. Please no tire kickers or lowballers
