lights were always there, just not very noticable...

I'm thinking of the future...Not sure how long I'll be staying here, and if the next place I move to will have a garage. If I stay in the city, definately not. If I won't have a place to keep it, then I'll have to sell it. I'd really HATE to, but reality seems to show it's ugly head.

I drove the sucker today for the first time since June (that's how often I drive it). I need to take it somewhere upstate and rip up those roads (between Liberty & Jeffersonville). But I don't have the time or any other reason to go up there.

We have an ongoing battle. If I see a house that we can possibly afford, she'll say, I don't like it, it's cheap, and so on.
She say's let's buy an apartment in Queens.
I say, what?? spend the same amount of money on less space and no place to put my tools & crap?
She says, I don't want to buy a cheap shitty house...

an on and on we go...

lol.. women.. Queens aint no better than brooklyn.. Higher car insurance too IIRC.. Just gotta remind her the house is a starting point.. Doesnt have to stay that way forever.. and it's better and bigger than an apt.. You buy the apt, you still gotta pay maintenance fees and live by someone else's rules.. defeats the purpose..

Better off living in the camaro... j/k Me & my wife wanna get out too.. just afraid not being able to find a good job, especially having to worry about my kids.. If it was just me & her, I would have been up and out a long time ago.. I've been going back n forth, working upstate during the week and coming home one the weekends just to make ends meet bc I cant find a decent company to work for here..

but anyway, getting back to the car.. Put it on ebay with a reserve.. that way you can see what kind of offers you get.. Same on craigslist.. Name a price OBO and see what happens.. But be prepared for a lot of spam and low-ballers on CL.. Ive had like 3 people email me asking if they can give me a deposit and pay me monthly for the car.. gimme a break..

the ones that seemed legit, showed interest, but never showed up to come see the car.. (my 4th gen that is, I'm selling it)

Sweet ride you got there to bad you have to sell it. I know the feeling of living in NYC and finding a place to park you car. I was born and raised in NYC
( Lower East Side ) but was lucky the apartment building I lived in had indoor parking garage. When I wanted to buy a place of my own everything was expensive NY. So I went out of state and found a house in CT.
So hope you and your wife find a place with a garage so you dont have to sell the car.
