The firewall by the heater box is one location. Another location is on the drivers front side of the inner fender, under the windwhield washer bottle, at least that's where it is on a 70. There is a flat area and that is where I have my MSD box.

I had a '64 Nova back in the day, and mounted everything where the glove box used to be on a piece of sheet metal...open the glove box door, and there it all was.

my ac has been removed so there is a sheet metal plate there now. is there enough room to mount the hyfire box and accel super coil there. i want to cut down on the wire length between the unilite, coil and hyfire box.

I think those boxes are bigger than a MSD (which fits in that location fine) but I have to think that it would still be a good place to start looking. There are not a lot of other choices under the hood. You can mount it directly on the inside fenderwell as well.

That's where I've seen most installed. Just be careful to mount the Mallory over far enough that it isn't directly above the headers because of the heat they radiate could cause you problems.

i mounted my cd box under the dash, there is ALOT of room under there. As for the coil i just used a coil in the cap accell version for my hei.... keeping the ignition box out of the engine bay cleans it up and makes your car more of a sleeper.
