Just the main bearings are smaller. The rods are normal 5.7 rods same as 350s. Available anywhere.
In fact all sbc use 5.7 rods except 400s

The early SBCs used a 2.00" rod pin instead of the 2.100" rod pin used on later models.
2.300 mains and 2.00 rods are a small journal.
2.450/2.100 are large journal,
and the 400 used a 2.650 main journal.

I stand corrected.
I was thinking rod length for some reason.
