Is there much of a difference in sound between the original 40 series and the Delta flow 40's? I want a really strong sound and the Flowmaster tech told me the Delta's are a little milder than the originals. I don't want too mild though.
Opinions??

I believe the 40 delta flow are still 2-chamber mufflers, but like the tech said, a little milder. The original 40 series are very crisp and raspy. Go to the Flowmaster site, they have sound bytes of each muffler.

Don't worry the flowmaster 40 delta flows are still loud as hell.....but as it was mentioned before, the DF does get rid of some of that "tinny" rasp.

IMHO, they sound better than regular 40's
