I need some ideas on engine detailing. It's been a while since I've seen some of you guys motors. I know saw a post back about a year ago with alot of feedback, but I can't find it now. So show us what you've got.

Actually they aren't chromed, that's polished, talk about a major PITA, took me roughly a day or two to do both (Using the old drill method and I think polishing compound), when I was done and looked in the mirror I had so much black on me from polishing, you wouldn't of believed it.

I was quite happy with the way they came out. Chrome will be more intense, and less trouble to keep nice, but polished IMO looks just as good, just have to keep after it. Not sure if that has to do with the grade aluminum used or not (how good of a finish) - these are Moroso's, but I know cheaper versions are available.

I like the chevy orange to but there's no way I'm going to have a orange motor in a blue car. I would never live it down having our state rivals colors (Auburn University) on my car. Roll Tide! I'm still looking for a color for my block.

I'm really liking that aero hood. I kinda wish I had gotten that instead of the 4" cowl.

Still just teasing us!??? How much have you been able to get done on the car?

well i am finally getting around to getting some done. I had a problem with some wilwood rotors they sent me a rotor with the right part number but it was going the wrong direction, and of coarse i didn't notice it till it was all wire tied and had lock tite on all the bolts. Then my hedders fit great till i got them back from jet hot and put the gasket on now they are to close to the rubber part on the steering shaft. So i am in the process of putting a new steering shaft and joints on now. I still have to run all the new brake lines then wire the car. Should be able to fire it up in a month or so(i hope).
I got the fenders,deck lid, and spoiler painted last weekend put the new emblems on and the side marker lights. I got to say they look great. The way we painted these the black is so deep it is awsome.I can't wait to see this put all together. Well enough about my stuff Have u been to the track lately?

not since the last time we talked...too much going on.
