I ran the Holley Blue on my Chevelle. It was bolted to the bottom side of the trunk floor pan. It deffinetly made some noise, but was drowned out by the motor. BTW, the pump lasted me about 6-7 years before it started to leak.

What are your fuel needs? Many people run electric pumps when a good mech. one would be easier and quieter.

My blue pump works great.I can barely hear it with the engine running. They are louder if you use the dead head regulator Holley sends with them.To quiet mine down a little I modified the regulator and turned it into a return syle regulator.Doing this made a huge diffrence.
