GM uses the mini starter on the 4.3l trucks and I'm told that they are interchangeable with the small blocks. What year did the trucks have them in it with a straight across bolt pattrern. I just wanted to go this route because if it fails I can just go to a parts store and replace it over the counter. Thanks Darrin

The '93-97 LT1 F-bodies also used a ministarter that works on the old style SBC.

I have a good ol' old school high torque full size Delco. With the Optima battery I could run 12s with just the starter engaged...

I put in a MSD mini starter, it can be used on SB and BB.

I've had a L98 Corvette ministarter for about the last 10 years. No problems with it. Of course now I just jynxed myself... <slapping my head> stupid stupid stupid... :crazy:
