Are the Speed Pro Powerforged pistons actual forged pistons or is that a gimmick name for hypereutectic?

That's just a trade name FM uses. Yes they are forged.

Yep they are true forged pistons... Use to be called TRW forged.
They are great pistons for the money, alittle on the heavy side for a full race engine, but stronger than other race type forged pistons for a street/strip engine

They also have the LW Powerforged pistons that are a little lighter and aren't that much more than the regular ones. I forgot what I paid but they were less than $300 for my LW2256 pistons.
