Hello i got a bbc but i cant find any cast # on the block the heads have 3964290 and pistons (they look flat)have 396554, can i know by these # waht block is?
Or what compression makes?

you can try www.mortec.com (http://www.mortec.com) for the heads. maybe look through summit or jegs trying to match a part number for the pistons. i think the 290 heads are like 109cc closed chamber. i got a set but i dont remember what they are. the ones i had were from a 70 402ci.

Hey i look at www.mortec.com (http://www.mortec.com) for the heads good info there, and in the block i did not found any #, i just clean it a bit to see if there ware any # but no luck, im going to clean the block to see if there are any #.
Is there any way to find out what compression that it makes?
